listened to by their peers and the staff.<\/li>\n<li>To report any concerns or worries to the manager.<\/li>\n<li>To be protected from aggression by other children (pushing, teasing, threats\u2026).<\/li>\n<li>To have a meal in good conditions, in a relaxed, warm, and attentive atmosphere.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>The child has responsibilities<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>To respect basic rules of politeness (please, thank you\u2026).<\/li>\n<li>Respect other children and catering staff, be polite and courteous with classmates and adults present.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the smooth running of the meal through a responsible attitude.<\/li>\n<li>The school canteen is a place for communal living<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>It is an opportunity for the child:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>To learn how to live together<\/li>\n<li>To discover new flavors<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>In order for everything to go as smoothly as possible, there are a few basic rules that must be respected by everyone.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h4>Before entering the canteen:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>I have the right to view the menu.<\/li>\n<li>I have the right to sit with whomever I want.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>BUT<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>I must line up calmly, without pushing my comrades.<\/li>\n<li>I need to wash my hands.<\/li>\n<li>I must settle down quietly in the school cafeteria, respect the adults and my<br \/>comrades.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>During the meal:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>I have the right to speak calmly with my classmates.<\/li>\n<li>I have the right to eat at my own pace.<\/li>\n<li>I have the right to be served again if there is enough left.<\/li>\n<li>I have the right to be respected by adults.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>BUT<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>I must respect adults.<\/li>\n<li>I have to take into account what I am told and respect the decisions of the canteen staff.<\/li>\n<li>I need to eat neatly and use my paper napkin.<\/li>\n<li>I mustn't play or waste food, and I taste everything!<\/li>\n<li>I have to share with my classmates (the dishes in the salad bowls).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>At the end of the meal<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>I participate in the service of putting away the plates and cutlery.<\/li>\n<li>I put my stool under the table before leaving the canteen.<\/li>\n<li>I leave calmly without pushing my classmates and I go to the rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Do the children eat rice every day?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>No. We serve starchy foods every day, but they vary depending on the menu: pasta, potatoes, rice, cereals, or bread. The goal is to ensure a balanced and varied diet.  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>My child doesn't like vegetables, can he\/she have only meat + starchy foods?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We encourage children to try all foods, including vegetables.<\/p>\n<p>We respect their appetite, but we accompany them in the gradual discovery of new foods, without forcing them.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>My child has food allergies, what should I do?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We take allergies into account as part of an Individualized Care Plan (PAI).<\/p>\n<p>When possible, we adapt the menu.<\/p>\n<p>In cases of severe or multiple allergies, we may ask parents to provide a meal to ensure the child's safety.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>My child follows dietary restrictions for religious reasons. How do you manage? <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>On days when a forbidden food appears on the menu, we offer a suitable alternative.<\/p>\n<p>Please provide us with written confirmation of any restrictions to ensure consistent follow-up.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>My child is vegetarian, what are the options?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A vegetarian menu is offered once a week for everyone.<\/p>\n<p>For children who are vegetarian on a daily basis, a vegetarian option can be served every day upon request.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Are the menus approved by a nutrition professional?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Yes. A French dietician regularly evaluates our menus to guarantee their nutritional balance. <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Are the meals prepared on site or delivered?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All our meals and snacks are prepared on site, every day, in our kitchens by our team of cooks.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Do you use fresh produce?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Yes. We favour fresh produce and limit ultra-processed foods as much as possible. <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Can I view the menus in advance?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Yes, the menus are communicated to families:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>on the website<\/li>\n<li>via communications sent by the school<\/li>\n<li>or via the internal application (if applicable)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>My child eats very little at the canteen, how do you manage?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Our teams support the children with kindness, encourage them to try new things and ensure that they eat enough.<\/p>\n<p>If we observe regular difficulties, we inform the parents in order to find solutions together.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Does the canteen offer sweetened water or sodas?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>No. The children only have access to water during meals.<\/p>\n<p>Sugary drinks, sodas and flavored waters are completely excluded.<\/p>\n<p>Every morning, we serve fresh fruit juice prepared on site.<\/p>\n<p>A small amount of sugar can be added only when the fruits are very acidic (lemon, bitter orange, passion fruit).<\/p>\n<p>Exceptionally, during festive events, a small dose of grenadine may be offered.
